Cert lll in Aged Care

This course is designed for the students who want to help the elderly and have an understanding of what it takes to maintain their happiness and freedom.
It provides the students with the essential competencies to assist aged people and provides them with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure you are able to meet the varied needs of each resident at the appropriate level. In this area of work your duties may range from supporting residents with washing, dressing and eating, to listening to the life stories of residents or clients. You will provide assistance according to the wishes of each resident or client at all times

What You'll Learn in this Course?

You will study how to care for people with dementia, provide personal care for clients, and work with culturally diverse clients and co-workers.
You will also learn how to comply with information requirements in aged and community care sectors, work effectively in a home environment and apply advanced first aid.
